In the 1950's a subsidiary company, Ulmann & Associates, acted as purchasing Agents for Alitalia and Lufthansa and helped them acquire their first Lockheed Constellations. In the 1970's Allied sold complete Turbomeca gas turbine powered high speed passenger trainsets to Amtrak. In the 1980's Allied introduced high temperature fiber metal acoustic media to quiet the APU and ECS systems of the new Airbus aircraft.

Today, Allied International's AS9100 certified  Acoustic Division manufactures complete inline silencers for Learjet and provides its own AIC brand fibermetal acoustic media for quieting air compressors as well as commercial and corporate aircraft such as the Lear 45 as well as Airbus and Gulfstream aircraft.

Allied's Marketing and Distribution Division has a new focus on electronics components extreme environment niche markets such as  defense, aviation, medical and oil exploration. Products distributed and supported include: high reliability military grade brushless DC fans manufactured by Honeywell LMB , custom precision potentiometers and slip rings, , custom and limited run capacitors in all technologies including solid and wet tantalum, aluminum electrolytic, ceramic and plastic films such as polyester, polycarbonate and Teflon technologies manufactured by Eurofarad, Firadec and SIC -SAFCO. Two new lines were  added in 2008.  Abeillon makes  professional quality flexible goosenecks for many applications including lightweight headset microphones, military vehicle antennas, convenience lighting for aircraft first class seats and military vehicle interior maplights and display mounts. Chambrelan manufactures telescopic slides and linear ball rails for aerospace avionics racks, railway car doors and battery boxes and industrial  applications such as automation, emergency vehicles, hospital beds, and semiconductor fabrication machinery. In 2010 Allied took on international representation of Bokam, innovators in Man Machine Interface for UAVs and other robotics. Building on our relationship with experts in oil patch logging while drilling, in 2011 Allied added to its portfolio by signing an agreement to distribute high temperature silicon capacitors from IPDIA in France.

Back in the 1960s Allied International sold Greer Hydraulics  test stands and other ground support equipment to European Air Forces to support the Lockheed F104 . Once again  Allied International's Ground Support Equipment activity  has been growing steadily since Allied took on the distribution of Tronair GSE. Products sold and stocked include: towbars, jacks, HPU, bead breakers, nitrogen bottle carts, lavatory carts, maintenance stands,cabin pressure units, lavatory carts, compressor washers and oil service units. The latest addition to the Tronair line stocked by Allied is the JetPorter Electric Towbarless Tug, the most reliable, cost effective and easy to maintain electric tug for the up to 100,000 lb aircraft market. Allied's salesman for this product line are the most experienced in the industry and have expanded Tronair's reach around the world. In addition to Tronair, Allied supports its loyal customer base with a wide range of complementary products from other manufacturers.

Allied continues to sell the products we have been know for like rigid tubes and flexible hoses from Smiths Tubular Systems, Transformer Rectifier Units from Champion, spherical bearings, bushings and ballscrews from RBC Southwest, and impact and limit switches from Inertia switch.

Last ,but not least, Allied has not abandoned its roots. Just as our founders supported European airlines  as trusted purchasing agents, today we continue to work in a completely transparent way to assist large and small  Asian, European, and US aerospace  companies in sourcing both components and build to print machining from the USA.
