- LMB is one of only two companies in the world supplying a full range of electronics cooling fans that meet the Mil Standards for climactic conditions Mil -STD-810E, mechanical conditions MIL-STD-810E, and electromagnetic compatibility RTCA/DO 160E and MIL-STD-461 E. These standards cover operating temperature range (-50 to +100 o C), humidity, sand & dust, salt spray, vibration, shock and acceleration.
- Applications cover aircraft, helicopters, pods (targeting and IR countermeasures) and ground military vehicles.
- LMB fans are flying on military platforms such as C-17, F-18, Blackhawk, Apache, C-130, AV8B, as well as most European programs.
- LMB oven fans are galley equipment on many Airbus aircraft.
- LMB designs and manufactures high performance fans for AC (50/60 Hz, 400 Hz and wild frequency) and brushless DC (28- 300 VDC)
- The Optifan line of small DC brushless axial fans are available in round servo ring and square flange versions ranging in size from 1 ¾ in to 3 ¾ in diameter. Most of the fans are available with Fan Performance Sensor (FPS) or Low Speed Warning (LSW).
- The HYPERFAN line of 400 HZ and DC brushless high performance scavenge fans are built to handle highly abrasive intake at data points like 2000 CFM at 9 IWG.
- The AC and DC centrifugl blowers cn handle high static pressures over 20 IWG.
- LMB was acquired by Honeywell in July of 2000 and started working together with Allied International for the US market in 2003.
